Vijay, one of the top heroes of Indian cinema, has a journey that started with the support of his father, S.A. Chandrasekhar. However, Vijay’s path to success wasn’t an easy one, as he faced harsh criticism and mocking after his debut film Naalaya Theerpu flopped. Despite this setback, SAC did not give up on his son and directed films like Senthurapandi and Rasikan Deva with Vijay as the lead, which received moderate success. It was during the shooting of Vishnu, that Vijay was scolded by actress Sanghavi with SAC.+
Sanghavi, who acted alongside Vijay in Vishnu and Rasigan, shared in an interview that during the shooting of a scene where two people were drowning in the water, Vijay was shivering in the cold while Sanghavi got up immediately after drowning. This led SAC to scold Vijay severely, comparing him unfavorably to Sanghavi’s performance. Vijay later approached Sanghavi and expressed his frustration, telling her that he was being scolded because of her actions.
Despite this incident, the chemistry between Vijay and Sanghavi worked well on-screen, making them a popular couple among Tamil cinema fans. The majority of the Vishnu film was shot in Ooty, and it received a decent response from the audience.
In conclusion, Vijay’s journey to stardom wasn’t easy, but with the support of his father and his hard work, he has become one of the most popular actors in Indian cinema. Although the incident with Sanghavi during the shooting of Vishnu was not ideal, their on-screen chemistry worked well, leading to a successful film.
