Tiruchengode, Tamil Nadu, India: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Tamil Nadu state president Annamalai on Sunday praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts to improve the lives of the poor, saying that he is the first Prime Minister to go to the homes of the poor and fulfill their needs.
Speaking at his “En Mann En Makkal” yatra in Tiruchengode, Namakkal district, Annamalai said that Prime Minister Modi has fulfilled the needs of the poor, such as housing, toilets, and bank accounts.
He also said that before 2014, only big businesses were given bank loans, but after Prime Minister Modi came to power, loans are now being given to ordinary people through the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana.
“Prime Minister Modi is the first Prime Minister to truly understand the needs of the poor and to take steps to address those needs,” Annamalai said. “Under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, the Indian government has launched a number of schemes and initiatives that have helped to improve the lives of millions of poor people.”
Annamalai expressed confidence that Prime Minister Modi would continue to work to improve the lives of the poor and to create a more inclusive and prosperous society for all.
