Delhi Book Fair Becomes Battleground as Christian Missionaries Push Conversion Agenda

A recent incident at a book fair in Delhi’s Pragati Maidan has sparked controversy and raised concerns about religious conversion. Christian missionaries were reportedly distributing objectionable content against Hindus and giving out free copies of the Bible, even to small children. Their aim, it is alleged, was to prepare Hindus for conversion.

The United Hindu Front, a prominent Hindu organization, launched a protest at the event, demanding strict action against the missionaries spreading propaganda against Hinduism. The group’s national vice president, Dharmendra Bedi, and its leader in Delhi, Rahul Manchanda, were present at the event, along with other UHF employees.

The protest was also supported by Jai Bhagwan Goyal, the national president of the Rashtrawadi Shiv Sena and the international executive president of the United Hindu Front. Goyal criticized the Christian missionaries for disparaging Hindus and persuading them to convert to Christianity.

In response to the incident, Goyal has called for the book stalls installed by the Christian missionaries to be taken down immediately. He also requested that individuals engaged in conversion operations face harsh punishment from the police and the administration.

This incident has once again brought to the forefront the sensitive issue of religious conversion and the need to promote tolerance and respect for all religions. It is important for all individuals and organizations to promote peaceful coexistence and mutual understanding, without resorting to tactics that could be seen as disrespectful or discriminatory towards any particular religion or community.
