PM Narendra Modi on Tuesday conducted a top tier meeting on the review of covid 19 vaccination preparation. Nearly Rs.100 crore has been already allocated from PM cares Funds Trust for the vaccination development.
The meeting addressed 4 main principles:
1. Provide vaccine to vulnerable group prior.
2. Reaching the vaccine to anyone anywhere without domicile restrictions.
3. Affordable and universal
4. Proper technically monitored the vaccination development process.
Hyderabad based Bharat Biotech in collaboration with the ICMR and NIV announced that it was successfully developed the covaxin for covid19. It is under the clinical trial and the permission is granted for phase l and ll Human clinical trail in the month of July.
