On Sunday morning, a tragic accident occurred near Worli Dairy when a speeding car collided with a 38-year-old woman who was out for a jog. The woman, identified as Rajlaxmi Raj Krishnan, succumbed to her injuries on the spot, according to police reports. Witnesses allege that the car was speeding and hit her from behind, causing her to be thrown into the air before landing on the ground.
The car driver lost control of the vehicle after the collision and crashed into a divider. Although the driver only suffered minor injuries, he was detained by the police following a medical examination.
Krishnan had been jogging close to Worli Dairy at approximately 6:30 am when the accident happened. She was immediately taken to a hospital where she was declared dead.
